Remedy For Powerful Planets

There are some planets which remain powerless and are incapable of giving their effect. There are certain ways to strengthen such planets. The planets which are expected to give favorable effects are given some power by the following means:

(1) The sinful planets are tried to be pleased by keeping objects and animals related to that planet. It is always wise to seek the blessings of elders.

(ii) In order to support Venus, one is advised to keep aside three morsels of food from the plate for cow, crow and dog; it helps in strengthening wealth and prosperity.

(iii) It is advisable to feed chapati to dogs to support Ketu. This also helps in begetting a son.

To make Powerless Planets become Fruitful

(1) Mars: It is advisable to keep deerskin in the house. Roast sweet chapati in tandoor and distribute.

(2) Mercury, Venus, Saturn: Keep aside 3 morsels of food from the plate to be offered to cow, dog, and crow.

(3) Rahu: Wash barley with milk and keep it tied in a red cloth. Keep it safely in your house. Donate radish. Drop coal in flowing water.

(4) If the natal is suffering from tuberculosis, he may wash barley in cow's urine, tie in a red cloth and keep carefully in the house.

(5) If son and daughter both are inauspicious for father, he should tie a piece of copper around his daughter's neck.

(6) If Mars is seated in the first, the third or the eighth house and gives evil effect, Mercury should be appeased.

Use of gems and metals

Different gems or metals are used to minimize or eliminate the evil effect of the planets. They are also used to enhance the auspicious effect of the planet.

Sun

Take two copper pieces of equal weight. Pledge as though you are performing kanya daan. Throw away one piece in the flowing water and keep another piece very carefully with you. Make sure that the copper piece remains always with you.

Moon

Take two original pearls or two silver pieces of same weight. Pledge as though you are performing kanya daan and repeat the action mentioned in the previous step.

Mars

Repeat the same action but in this case a red stone is to be used and kept back carefully.

Mercury

The same process is to be followed as in the previous case, but diamond or shells are to be used.

Jupiter

Use gold or pieces of saffron in the above process.

Venus

White pearl is to be used and kept carefully.

Saturn

Use iron, black Surma

Rahu

Use sapphire

Ketu

Use double colored stone in the same process.

Special: If mercury is placed in the 12th house, then take two iron rings without a Joint and perform the previously mentioned procedure. Sun

Worship Lord Vishnu and read Harivansh Purana. Donate copper and wheat.

Moon

Worship Lord Shiva and chant the mantra 'Om Namah Shivay m: and do Mahamrtunjay jap. Donate milk, rice and silver.

Mars

Chant the auspicious Gayatri Mantra and worship Lord Hanuman. Offer prasad in Hanuman temple and distribute it. donate lentil and red moong dal.

Mercury

Worship Goddess Durga, read Durga Saptashati and donate whole green gram.

Jupiter

Worship Lord Brahma, read Harivansh Purana and donate bengal gram and gold.

Venus

Worship Goddess Laxmi. Help the needy and widows. Donate ghee, curd, camphor and pearl.

Saturn

Worship Lord Bhairava. Obtain favor of the ruler or administrator. Donate whole black gram and iron.

Rahu

Worship Goddess Saraswati. Perform kanya dan or help a needy person in getting his daughter married. Donate mustard and sapphire. 

Ketu
